Oribi Gorge Guest Farm ReviewHaving recently returned from my fourth stay at Oribi Gorge Guest Farm, I'm keen to share a balanced view of this charming establishment. Nestled in a beautiful setting, the guest farm offers a unique experience that's both functional and cozy for a family passionate about outdoor activities. The cottage itself is well-stocked with essential amenities. The kitchen comes complete with cookware and kitchen utensils, making self-catering a breeze. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities, which added a homey touch to our mornings. The sitting area provided a comfortable space for us to unwind after a day of exploring suspension bridges and tackling the zip wire in the gorge. Despite the positive aspects, there were a few drawbacks worth noting. The service struggled, particularly during our Saturday cleaning, which detracted a bit from the experience. The additional charges for towels and the flat-screen TV felt unnecessary, especially when added to the accommodation cost. While the value for money is evident, guests might want to weigh these additional expenses against potential luxury at other venues. In the end, Oribi Gorge strikes a fair balance between offering a rustic farm experience and providing basic comforts, albeit with some room for improvement.
